About the presenter
Erik has been working with compliance as his primary task since 2016 and, during his time at DNV, has primarily worked with auditing information security and data protection. Erik was part of DNV's first team of auditors, who in 2025 became qualified as Lead Auditors in ISO 42001, AI Management System.
With Erik's background as Lead Auditor in information security and data protection, combined with the Lead Auditor training in AIMS, Erik has a good insight into the challenges involved in implementing an AIMS and how to ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI through the use of the management system.
Throughout his career, Erik has given lectures at major international conferences and has also taught at the University during his PhD studies in Theoretical Chemistry.
