Er du klar til at møde 2016? | Ledelsessystemer

2016 kommer til at stå i de nye ISO-standarders navn. Det er vist ikke gået nogens næse forbi, at der er udkommet en ny udgave af ISO 9001 og ISO 14001. Sidst på året forventes ISO 45001 – den nye udgave af OHSAS 18001. Alligevel ser det ud til at alt for mange virksomheder undervurderer ændringernes betydning og udskyder overgangen til de nye udgaver til sidste øjeblik.

DNV GL’s Maritime Academy: More than 4,600 customers have been trained up to now – high interest for safety and risk topics

In another challenging year for the maritime industry people keep investing in the competencies of their staff during the down times. Enclosed Space Entry: Watch out for the Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) by PSC

The concentrated inspection campaign (CIC) for 2015 in the Paris MoU will be on Crew Familiarization for Enclosed Space Entry. The CIC is scheduled to take place from September to November this year and will be carried out jointly with the Paris MoU, Tokyo MoU and Black Sea MoU. Other MoUs may also join this campaign. Do you comply with all SOLAS, STCW and ISM requirements?

DNV GL Maritime Academy Singapore on February 2nd 2015 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Singapore Maritime Academy (SMA) run by Singapore Polytechnic to promote education and training in the maritime field.

During the IMO Sub-Committee on Human Element, Training and Watchkeeping (HTW) meeting in February requirements for the training and certification of personnel serving on board ships operating in Polar waters were agreed.

Now available: Workshop on "Offshore vessel management and self-assessment (OVMSA)"

For oil companies and offshore contractors chartering offshore vessels, compliance with the ISM Code is not sufficient enough anymore. In future they will only want to charter well maintained and well managed vessels as prescribed in the OVMSA Best Practice Guide for Offshore Vessel Operators. Companies operating offshore vessels will have to take these new recommendations into account.
