The scope of the MOU will focus on exchanging of lecturers and trainers in maritime education and training, conduction of training courses, workshops and conferences, cooperation in the usage of training premises and facilities and participation in course development.
The MOU was signed by Susanne Schreeck, Global Head of Academy, DNV GL Maritime and Rudiyanto, President Director, BKI.
"We are pleased to enhance our maritime working relationship with BKI. This MOU is a milestone for Maritime Academy Singapore. We believe that our joint collaboration will help both the Academy and BKI to improve the quality of maritime education and training to the next level," said Susanne Schreeck.
"Partnership between BKI Academy and DNV GL Maritime Academy Singapore will be an advantage for Indonesian maritime community to obtain excellent maritime training courses in Indonesia. Internally, BKI has opportunity to improve BKI surveyors and engineers' competency through DNV GL and its academy," said Rudiyanto.
