De bæredygtige udviklingsmål
I september 2015 vedtog FN de nye, bæredygtige SDG-udviklingsmål (Sustainable Development Goals) for år 2030. Dermed sættes en ambitiøs kurs for en sikker og bæredygtig fremtid for alle - især for de mindre privilegerede på vor 'Moder jord'.
De 17 mål giver en global ramme for indsatsen. Og regeringer, organisationer og enkeltpersoner overalt er faktisk allerede begyndt at handle på disse. Men trods et positivt momentum er det klogt at gøre status og overveje, hvad det vil kræve at opfylde målene. Er de opnåelige? Skal de være allesteder? Hvad er omfanget? Og hvordan kan virksomheden handle på målene? Det er nogle af de spørgsmål, vi har sat os for at besvare.
Sådan har vi grebet det an
For at gøre prognosen operationel har vi valgt at vurdere sandsynligheden for, at menneskeheden opnår hvert af de 17 SDG-udviklingsmål i 2030. Rapporten har ikke alene fokus på vores prognose for at opnå målene - det omfatter også den private sektors løsninger for at hjælpe udviklingen på vej. For hvert udviklingsmål fremhæver vi derfor en virksomhed, der har formået at skabe banebrydende fremskridt.
Vi har tilføjet dette ’løsningselement’ i dialog med FN Global Compact - et initiativ, der skal tilskynde virksomheder over hele verden til at bidrage til en bæredygtig fremtid ved at vedtage bæredygtige og socialt ansvarlige politikker.

SDG17 is divided into 17 targets, covering areas such as technology, trade, policy, and partnerships
